Let's get ready to...maintain.

Well hello flaabby friends. My name is Jilly Gagnon, I know that I know some of you, and all of you will eventually know too much about me.

I'm here not to lose weight, but to maintain. The holidays are upon us, but what with working 3 jobs, none of which hosted a holiday party, I've managed to stave off my "average of 5lbs gained" so far.

I intend to keep staving.

There's no point in not just being honest from the beginning - I used to suffer from anorexia, and I'm in a much better place now, but keeping myself in shape is still important to me. This is why my bet is not in pounds. I don't own a scale, because it's incredibly unhealthy for me to own one. I'm 5'10.5", so my weight really shouldn't mirror the Olsen twins', but that doesn't mean I don't crave the low one-teens, too. Okay, okay. One-tweens.

So I never let myself know anymore.

I wear a 6, sometimes 8, sometimes 4 (when you're shopping at the high-mid-level places, the Calvin Klein that's carried in Macy's, for example, where every item of clothing is meant to flatter the women who are convinced they've maintained their size since the 80s. On a side note, a 4-6 now was a 12 when Marilyn was wearing it...).

I'm posting pictures of me today, the day I placed bet, in my regular jeans. They're fitting normally right now - not tight, not quite falling off of me. I don't want them to get towards that "tight" range.

Let's see how well I maintain myself.
