Ugh
by Molly at 7:52pm on 07/09/09

I ate fanastically all day, until I came home and ate a serving of M&Ms.... :(

BLARGH. Now I just want to eat a thousand pounds of M&Ms. Recommendations for killing this craving, dahlings? My calorie counter is ashamed of me.

Pizza!
by Molly at 6:11pm on 07/08/09

That's right, I had PIZZA for dinner. Not just any pizza. I made my own. Let's take a gander.

Ingredients:

1 whole wheat tortilla, 7" diameter (50 cals)

2T tomato paste (30 cals)

1/4c part-skim mozzerella cheese (80 cals)

9 slices turkey pepperoni (35 cals)

basil + oregano to taste

Directions: Heat a skillet on medium to medium low. Prepare pizza, put in skillet. Cover skillet with lid, cook until cheese is melted and botom looks slightly browned. ENJOY!

TOTAL CALORIE COUNT: 195. For a 7" diameter personal pizza. Mmmm. I also made myself a salad to go on the side (35 calories, which includes a T of fat free dressing).

I have found many uses for this tortilla... including an almost guilt-free dessert. Tortilla + 1 TB peanut butter + 12 chocolate chips (semisweet is good for antioxidants! And 12 chocolate chips is like 29 calories). Warm it in the microwave for like 10 seconds and moosh the melted chocolate chips into the melty peanut butter.... and savor! It's delicious. I swear. And good for you too! :D

Long time no see!
by Molly at 5:16am on 07/07/09

Well, I stopped posting for a while! Oops.

Kind of failed at maintaining a healthy diet this weekendish... blame all the yummies at my boyfriend's family cookout! And the chocolate chip/peanut butter chip cookies I made... drool.

However, I packed a big bag of them up and sent them off with the bf - let HIM get those calories! And I've been watching my eating/exercise since. I did week 2 day 1 of the cough to 5K program yesterday, and ate a ton of yummy (healthy!) foods. Today at work I might be doing a lot of heavy lifting/moving (I work tech support on campus, but sometimes we have to setup labs and load computers from the warehouse).

I need to make an appointment with lady dr. before my insurance expires in August - health is more than just food and exercise! ;]

Love reading your guys' posts - keeps me going! ROCK ON, flaabers!

Day Trois~
by Molly at 5:42am on 06/24/09

I rollerbladed to work this morning! :]

It only took about 10 minutes, even despite the potholes and roadblocks I ran into (who parks a truck on the sidewalk? Seriously!) I got a big glass of water and used a fan to cool myself down, since our office doesn't have A/C (it's hell in the summer, believe me). But rollerblading saves me from gaining flaab AND losing gas money, and lord knows I could use help at both.

I only had Slim-Fast (instead of my planned oatmeal) for breakfast because I had little time - Mr. Snooze Button was too tempting. I brought my soup for lunch, as well as some grapes and baby carrots to munch on.

Emily (fellow flaaber)! had a great idea in sharing food logs... so I'll follow her lead and post mine here: http://www.fitday.com/fitness/PublicJournals.html?Owner=hyprmolly

DUN DUN DUN. (ominous music)

It's only 8:40am, so I'm sure there will be more post later. Just felt like updating. :] Later flaabers! <3

P.S. I also broke part of my manicure cutting veggies last night... so now I have a chunk of the white acrylic part missing and plain nail showing and its sharp and annoying and ugly. :[ But mostly annoying.

Day 2!
by Molly at 8:22pm on 06/23/09

My lovelies!

I feel much better today. A horrid stuffy nose, but better other than that. I ate too FEW calories today, (shame), because cooking my awesome soup took longer than expected. It made about a BAJILLION CUPS and I will eat for years. Not really, but seriously, I had to split it into two pots. Whole wheat pasta, squash, tomatoes, celery, broccoli, corn, carrots, onion, garlic, kidney beans, pinto beans, and seasoning. I am so excited to take lunch to work tomorrow! ;]

Went for a walk with Mel - we walked for about 45 minutes, and I'd guess it was roughly 3mph. Not TERRIBLY fast, but at least our butts were moving. We bitched about boys and such, including The Enemy! I told her all about flaab.com too - I think I've convinced her! :] She'll be helping motivate me this long journey...

And of course, I have all of you fabulous people as motivation too. <3 WOO! Thus ends day deux.

Day One.
by Molly at 1:39pm on 06/22/09

135... it seems horribly impossible, from this point. BUT I WILL KICK ASS, I've decided. I weighed myself today at 160! Technically 159.8, but you know. I hope I can do this, because after a huge fight with the Enemy (who is also kind of an ex), we are no longer on speaking terms and this bet is now going to be horrendously awful if I don't win.

TALK ABOUT MOTIVATION!

I had toast and juice today. I never drink juice, due to calories and health vs. whole fruits, but I am sick :( and healing. No exercise today, I'm curled up in bed home from work. Tomorrow I will. Mel and I are walking/etc 2-3 miles twice a week starting tomorrow. Hooray! And I'll be using FitDay to track my food and exercise (I've been slacking on that since the move, eek.)

Toodles~ :]
