time to sweat.

This is going to be boring, but it's helpful (to me), so I'm going to keep posting what I've been eating.

So, yesterday's food diary continued:

1 cup applesauce (100 cals)

a few bites of tofu salad (mostly the tofu) (150 cals?)

2 pints hefeweizen (416 cals) [damn, I had no idea it had that many calories till I checked just now... I see why they call it a "beer belly"!]

Yesterday's TOTAL = 1,616 calories

Workout = none, unless 20 minutes of laughing until I cried counts. I've been throwing out all the boring people in my kitchen and it actually seems to be helping quite a bit. ;)

Today's food diary:

3 slices wheat toast (330 cals)

4 free range eggs (280 cals)

2 pats butter (100 cals)

1 packet oatmeal (160 cals)

coffee w/ 2 sugars + nondairy creamer (70 cals)

TOTAL= 940 cals

Okay, today I am really, seriously going to stick to under 1500 calories -- no sudden hefeweizen happy hours -- I will have red wine only. (Too bad the pub we always go to after work has 10,000 different delicious beers but only the vilest wine imaginable. Oh well, I will be strong -- it's a small price to pay for a thin, toned bod!)

I'll update later. Still haven't weighed myself yet -- I don't know whether to be apprehensive or excited! I've definitely been eating less, but now I need to start working out for real again... I miss being strong & fit & lean & toned! Tomorrow: rock climbing gym??


eating, eating, eating.

Haven't weighed myself in a few days, but I think for the most part I've been making progress. Tomorrow is weigh-in day, so we'll see. I think I'm going to start posting my food diary up here, because writing down what I eat always seems to help me lose, and I'm sure it'll be even more effective if everyone else can read it!

Today's intake:

Coffee w/ milk + sugar (85 cals)

4 free-range eggs (280 cals)

2 slices wheat toast (220 cals)

small pat of butter (45 cals)

crackers (12?) (320 cals)

TOTAL = 950 cals

I'll update later, in case I eat anything else, which I probably will. But I'll keep it light. My goal is to stick to 1200 calories a day. Wish me luck! :)

Three pounds down, 29 left to go... I seem to have replaced eating with flirting this week, which is always a plus. Nothing like cute boys to motivate you to lose weight! :)
